No, you do not need a referral from your GP to attend a consultation with any of the practitioners at Canberra Osteopathic Centre. With regards to Osteopathy, you can speak with your GP about receiving treatment for a chronic condition and whether you qualify for a Medicare rebate of up to 5 osteopathic treatments per year.

There is parking on the road and adjacent to the building (Canberra Health Point). Paid parking is available opposite the Canberra Health Point building and at the nearby Westfield Shopping Centre.

A minimum of 4 hours notice is required.

Yes, you can claim for osteopathic treatments if you have the ‘extras’ cover on your health fund. We have the HICAPS facility so it can be processed at the clinic.
